We have two types of digital products on our site: Printable PDF files and E-books. You can determine which type your product is by reading the information on the Product Detail pages.
Using PDF Files
Some of the digital items on this site are available in PDF format. PDF files are readable and printable from any home computer. However, they do require special software to read and/or print the files.
Most of the newer PCs, Macs, and tablets come with PDF reading software already installed. You simply double-click the file to open it, then follow the directions to print it.
If you do not have PDF reading software, we recommend the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
When you purchase/download one of our PDF products, you have the right to print a copy for your own personal use. Should that copy be damaged or destroyed, you may print a replacement copy.
All of our e-books come in a zipped file containing multiple formats.
A. Unzip Files.
Most of the newer PCs, Macs, and tablets come with software to unzip files. Usually, you simply double-click or tap the zipped file.
If you don’t have unzipping software, you may find it at a variety of places online.

B. Select the Format.
Our e-books come in the following formats: EPUB, MOBI, PRC, PDB, LRF.
Your reader device or app should have come with a user guide listing the compatible file formats. The formats change from time to time, so determining which format you need may take some research on your part.
EPUB: Kindle Fire, Nook, iPAD, Kobo, many other readers.
MOBI: Kindle Paperwhite, older Kindle models.
PRC: Some smartphones, PDAs, computers.
PDB: Some smartphones, PDAs, computers.
LRF: Sony readers.
Once an eBook has been downloaded, it cannot be refunded or exchanged. Please be sure your device can read one of the available formats before downloading.
C. Load File on Your Reader.
Every e-book reader and app works just a little differently. We cannot possibly give detailed instructions for how to do this for every reader, device, or app type. Please consult the documentation that came with your device.
These are the basic steps:
- After downloading and unzipping your files, determine which e-book format your device uses.
- Follow the directions that came with your device to connect it to your computer.
- In most cases, you will be able to drag the e-book file from your computer into the appropriate folder on your device, usually the Documents or My Documents folder.
- Follow the directions that came with your device to safely disconnect it from your computer.
- You may keep a backup file of the book on your computer.
