Do I have to buy an E-book reader to read an E-book?

You must have some type of reader, but you don’t have to buy one. Kindle and Nook both offer free reader software for PCs, Macs, smartphones, and other handheld devices.

If you purchase a downloadable pdf file, you will need some type of software that allows you to open, read, and print a pdf file. We recommend the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
